Neighbourhood Connections (KeyRing)

Neighbourhood Connections offers tenancy related support to people with a disability to enable them to live independently in the community. Each network has up to nine members, and a Community Living Worker who is employed to assist members network with each other, their neighbours and the wider community.

You can download a Neighbourhood Connections Brochure by clicking this link.  If you click on this link you can see a recent Channel Nine News story about Neighbourhood Connections.  This link will show you a recent Stonnington Leader article about the service.

If you want to find out more, or you are interested in being part of a network, please click here to download an expression of interest form and send it to Neighbourhood Connections.

Neighbourhood Connections has spaces available in the following networks: Armadale, Rosebud and Frankston. At present our Armadale network is lobbying the local council to have a permanent BBQ built in their local park and our Rosebud network is setting up their own vegie plot in the Rosebud Community Gardens.

Outreach Support

People with disabilities who want to live independently in the community may need caring and practical support. Outreach support services cover areas including:

  • Recreation and community connections
  • Personal care
  • Access to health and medical services
  • Training in independent living skills like travel, budgeting, banking, cooking, cleaning and gardening.

Each person requests the services that interest them, and we work out a support plan together to make sure their wishes and needs are met.

Support and Choice

We provide support services to people receiving a "Support and Choice" package. We are ready to assist anyone who is looking for connections, services and activities in Melbourne's Southern Region.  If you have a Support and Choice package we can provide you with support staff and case co-ordination.

Youth Respite Support

Marillac House and Calvary Silver Circle act as a consortium to provide service co-ordination, planning and direct support to children aged 12-18 years who have behaviours of concern, in all local government areas of the Southern Metropolitan Region.  Support focuses on getting children involved in recreational activities of their choice, and is not facilities-based.

Marillac House co-ordinates and plans services, working directly with children and their families to understand their wishes and needs and develop individualised plans.  Please also see these specialist support services for children.
